International Festival Celebrates Robotics, Innovation

The HEB Center Cedar Park will host a 3-day event featuring international students showcasing their robotics and innovative creations.

CEDAR PARK, TX — The Robotters International Festival, a one-of-a-kind event for individuals who love robots, will host its inaugural 3-day event on Monday, Feb. 17 through Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the H-E-B Center Cedar Park. Featuring a K-12 STEM tournament, a consumer robot showcase, and an epic award show, teams from around the world will convene for the Robotics Science Competition and will showcase the work of students from Kenya, Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the United States.

In the course of the event, students participate in collaborative challenges requiring the creative application of science, technology, engineering and math principles. There will also be a State of Robotics Summit, an expert lineup of leading robotters and industry leaders discussing topics related to teaching and learning, and the future of robotics in our society.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work and allow attendees to get a hands-on perspective on the way these robots work, and the event will conclude with an award show recognizing winners and innovators in the world of robotics.
