Ivybrook Academy Announces Opening of Cedar Park Location

School is in session at the Cedar Park, Texas, campus of Ivybrook Academy, the award-winning half day pre-school expanding throughout the United States. Ivybrook Academy Cedar Park owners, Harapriya and Kailash Nagarakanti, are thrilled to show off the brand-new campus to families in the community. “Ivybrook is a one-of-a-kind learning environment for young children,” explains Kailash. “We are truly proud to introduce this unique approach to early childhood education to the Austin area.” Harapriya adds that Ivybrook’s hybrid curriculum provides a core foundation for a child’s educational development. “We are parents of two children ourselves, and we understand the significance of providing a progressive pre-school curriculum designed to encourage a child’s natural curiosity about the world.”

Kathy Smith, a native Austinite with more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education, is principal of the Cedar Park Ivybrook Academy. She meets with families interested in sending their children to the brand new Ivybrook campus daily. “I tell them this is an authentic experience for children — meaning it’s not contrived by teachers. The curriculum is child-led, with guidance from the teacher. This method shows a child how their natural curiosity is valued, and it gives them a confident voice to ask questions and learn more about what they find interesting.”
