  1. The City of Leander is investing more to grow the city's tourism industry. According to Leander Director of Economic Development Cameron Goodman, Leander "has prioritized hotel tax funds — which can only be spent on tourism — because they also benefit businesses and increase city services."   2. Leander ISD is trying to fill hundreds of positions before the 2022-2023 school year starts. Open roles include bus drivers, substitute teachers, food services employees, and custodians. Available jobs can be found online. (KXAN)
