Leander ISD Community Comes Together To Help Teachers Rebuild

LEEF will host an Amplify Austin fundraiser to raise money for teachers whose campuses were damaged following the devastating winter storm.

LEANDER, TX—The Leander ISD has received an outpouring of support from the community to find ways to assist in the winter storm recovery efforts. Area campuses across the City experienced a range of damage, and the need to help is a common desire for Leander residents.

The Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) is the district's nonprofit foundation, and has transitioned its Amplify Austin fundraiser toward raising funds specifically for teachers in need of rebuilding their classrooms. Donors will have an opportunity to donate over a 24-hour period beginning Thursday, March 4 - Friday, March 5 at 6 p.m. to help teachers in the LISD community. Please note, however, the actual event will run longer.

Area teachers are asked to fill out the Google Form to request funds up to $250, and for those interested in donating please click HERE.
