Leander ISD Looks To Increase Its Substitute Pool
LISD in partnership with ESS staffing will accept applications from qualified candidates interested in becoming substitute teachers.
LEANDER, TX—In an effort to provide additional support for educators in the 2020-2021 school year, Leander ISD is working to increase the district's pool of substitute teachers, in partnership with ESS, substitute staffing company with the shared vision of creating a safe, positive learning environment for all LISD students.
This year has been a challenging one for many, and teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure their students remain engaged and learning during this difficult time. Increasing LISD's substitute pool will ensure educators can count on support when they need to be out of the classroom for professional learning or family responsibilities.
“We believe this partnership will bring great value to our substitute program in support of our staff when they are out of the classroom,” said Karie Lynn McSpadden, LISD’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “We know that subs are in great demand during this time and we are looking forward to working together with ESS to find amazing substitute teachers who have a passion for teaching and caring for our students.”
