Leander Kids Invited To Fun And Learning About Weather, Climate
Homeschooled kids ages 6-11 will spend the morning enjoying hands-on activities learning about science including a snowstorm simulation.
LEANDER, TX— Teaching children about the weather is an important way for them to learn science. From learning fun facts to making observations about the climate, kids learn about a relatable topic that can be taught in a fun and fascinating way. To share a great learning experience, Leander kids are invited to Fun with Weather hosted by The Wonder Studio TX on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m.
The Wonder Studio TX is a space for homeschooled children to explore their interests, find new passions, and meet new friends through experiential classes, activities, and part meetups. The Fun with Weather event will offer kids a chance to learn about the water cycle and storm systems as part of an interactive weather lab. There will be a snowstorm simulation, a rain shower, and a tornado inside mason jars.
To round out the fun activities, participants will have the chance to play weather bingo and help kids remember all the facts they've learned about the weather. Fun with Weather is open to kids ages 6-11 and the cost is $5 to attend. To register visit the Wonder Studio TX website or for more details click HERE.
