Leander Opens Brush Debris Drop-Off Locations For Area Residents
To assist residents with cleanup of brush debris left from the winter storm, Leander invites residents to community drop-off locations.

LEANDER, TX—In an effort to assist Leander residents with removal of brush debris resulting from the recent winter storm emergency, the City of Leander Parks & Recreation will provide drop off locations throughout the City. Residents may drop off brush debris at Devine Lake Park located at 1807 Waterfall Ave., and at Lakewood Park located at 2040 Artesian Springs Crossing from Tuesday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 28 with City staff onsite to assist from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Please note the following restrictions:
- Dropoff times limited from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No after-hours dropoff allowed
- Brush only. No construction materials, lumber or fencing allowed
- Trailers allowed. But no commercial quantities or commercial dumping allowed
- Please trim branches, if possible, prior to drop off. No onsite trimming allowed
- Tree trunks/branches more than 8-in. in diameter should be reduced to 4-ft. lengths
- Please practice COVID-19 distance/mask protocols while dropping off
In addition, brush pickup will be included with regular trash service. As of Monday, Feb. 22, Clawson Disposal resumed trash and recycle collections for Leander customers. Tree branches and brush pickup is available on designated pickups days, but be advised branches must be cut into 3-4 foot lengths and grouped in bundles of 40 lbs. or less. Up to five additional bundles or bags of trash may be left beside your container on your designated pickup day. For more information, including updates and announcements, click HERE.
