Malfunction Takes Down Leander ISD Website
The site was not operational Friday, with no timeline as to when it would be back online, weeks before a transfer to another platform.
LEANDER, TX — The Leander ISD website malfunctioned Friday afternoon, with no timeline as to when it would be back online.
The main school district website, www.leanderisd.org, was not operational on Friday. Instead, the site redirected users to a timeline updating on continuing site issues. “Our hosting provider has not provided us with details other than this is impact districts across the nation,” the message read in part.
School district officials stressed that the malfunction did not affect other campus websites.

"Our website hosting partner continues to work to restore service to our district website," officials wrote. "They have not provided us with an estimated time of resolution. This is a national outage that impacts customers across the nation."
District officials outlined the next steps: "If this outage persists, we will be ready to launch on our new platform with essential web pages on Monday afternoon. We have already moved approximately 50 percent of our web pages to the new site prior to this outage."
