March Maddisc Tournament Showcases Leander Disc Golfers
The disc golf doubles tournament will follow PDGA official rules with top 5 teams to receive free entry into a future disc golf tournament.
LEANDER, TX—It's time to celebrate spring, and Leander Disc Golfers are invited to the March Maddisc Tournament coming to the Benbrook Ranch Disc Golf Course! The Leander Parks and Recreation Department will host the disc golf doubles tournament that follows PDGA official rules.
Scheduled Saturday, March 20 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m at Benbrook Ranch Disc Golf Course located at 1100 Halsey Dr., Leander, TX 78641, participants will formatted to Doubles Best Score, and in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19, registered participants will sign up for one tee time, and will be staggered through the course with multiple teams competing at once. Tee times begin at 9 a.m. and will repeat every 30 minutes with 16 tee times to choose from.
Team scores will be posted on this website and an announcement of the winning team will be made on the City of Leander Parks and Recreation Facebook page. The top 5 teams will receive free entry into a future disc golf tournament to be held at Benbrook Ranch Disc Golf Course. Registration for this event can be found at our Online Registration website: https://secure.rec1.com/TX/city-of-leander-tx/catalog(link is external). You can find the registration activity under the section "Ticketed Events". The cost for this tournament is $20 per person, $40 per team. Each team will register under one participant's account and will input the details for their team member, including t-shirt size, contact information, and preferred tee time.
Each registrant will receive a March Mad-Disc commemorative disc, a T-Shirt, swag, and entry into the tournament. For more information click HERE.
