Moonlight Express Explores Hill Country's Beauty
Austin Steam Train Association will host a 44-mile excursion in Cedar Park and running through the Hill Country landscape by moonlight.
CEDAR PARK, TX—Take part in a magical moonlight journey through the Texas Hill Country aboard vintage train cars from the golden era of rail travel built in the '30s, '40s and '50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. Moonlight Express at Cedar Park Depot is a 44-mile excursion spanning the South San Gabriel River and soaring past the historic 1912 Bertram Depot.
Scheduled Saturday, Feb. 20 with doors opening at 6 p.m., and will be a 2.5 hours round trip with no layover. There will be adult-only cars and family-friendly cars available for a unique and memorable trip. There will be beer and wine and wine available for purchase in the Cedar Park car, and no personal alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
