Owner of Austin Auto Web in Leander Accused of Stealing $1 Million From Customers

He's accused of stealing from at least 19 customers.

The owner of a car dealership in Leander has been accused of stealing more than $1 million from his customers.

Don Taylor, 56, the owner of Austin Auto Web car sales lot, and his salesman David Parsons, 48, were both arrested in connection with the theft, KXAN reported. Court documents allege the two were engaged in forgery, tampering with a government record and theft of about $1,005,100.

There are over 19 documented victims who said they consigned with Parsons and Taylor to sell their vehicle but when they came back, their vehicle had been sold without their actual signature and they never received money for their vehicle.
