Sign Up for the Halloween Half Marathon in Cedar Park
Put on your costume -- and your running shoes.
The Austin Halloween Half Marathon will take place on Oct. 24 in Cedar Park. The winner in the male and female half marathon races will get $250 and a gift card to Rogue Running Center.
The races will start and finish at the Cedar Park Center. There’s also a 5K and a kid’s marathon that will be 1.2 miles long.
The half marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. The 5K starts 15 minutes later. And the kid’s marathon begins at 10:30 a.m.

“The finish line will be a party. We will have amazing food and entertainment and bounce houses and face painting for kids. Please feel free to bring blankets and chairs to relax on at the finish line while cheering on your fellow runners,” event organizers said on their website.
The races benefit the Rising Star Outreach Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting leprosy colonies in India.
