Here are the top three stories today in Cedar Park-Leander:
- At the joint Jul. 14 meeting with the City of Leander and Leander ISD, updates were given about the Raider Way and East Woodview Drive roadway improvements project. According to city manager Rick Beverlin, some of the delays were due to the right-of-way acquisitions. Beverlin also said the final design is expected to be done by the end of August and the bid package should be finalized by the end of this year. (Community Impact)
- Drowning is the leading cause of injury and death for children ages one to four, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
