2 Malnourished Horses Seized From Splendora Home
The discovery of 2 malnourished horses in Splendora came too late for one of the animals. The surviving horse is under the SPCA's care.

SPLENDORA, TX — The ghoulish sight of two starving horses abandoned and all alone led to a call for help to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies pulled up to the 15600 block of W. Relza on Wednesday and found two horses in pretty bad shape. Officials with the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were called to the area, but it was already too late for one of the animals.
One of the horses was in such poor condition that it collapsed on the ground and died before animal cruelty officials arrived.
