• Conroe ISD invites Community Feedback on K–12 Math Instructional Materials (hellowoodlands.com) — Conroe ISD is asking parents and community members to review proposed K–12 math instructional materials between January 5 and 23, 2026, either online or by appointment at the district’s Textbook and Assessment Center. Feedback will help shape which state-reviewed and Advanced Placement resources are adopted for local classrooms, giving Conroe families a direct voice in future math instruction.
   

• New Year's Eve Events in The Woodlands area (hellowoodlands.com) — New Year’s Eve options around The Woodlands include a full dinner, dancing, and unlimited sparkling wine celebration at MEZZE in Conroe, plus family-friendly and adults-only parties in Spring, Montgomery, Shenandoah, and Oak Ridge North. Most events require reservations, feature special menus or live music, and run from the afternoon of December 31 into the early hours of January 1.
