3 Charged With Human Trafficking After Year-Long Probe: Police
A probe that began last year after 2 Montgomery County teens were recovered safe, ended with 3 arrested for human trafficking, police said.
CONROE, TX — Three people have been charged with human trafficking after investigators recovered two Montgomery County teenagers who were originally thought to be runaways, police said.
Jennifer Walker, 37, Denzel Cliffton Jvon Taylor, 18, and Agustin Emmanuel Erick Smith, 18, were arrested in Crosby on July 1 by members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit.
Montgomery County investigators launched its probe into human trafficking activities in July 2018 after the two teens were discovered in Crosby by the Harris County Precinct 3 Constables Office, according to a press release.

All three were later charged with one count of trafficking of persons, which is a first-degree felony, and were taken to the Harris County Jail.
Smith, Walker, and Taylor have bonds set at $70,000.
