$500K In Meth Seized By Montgomery County Constables
Constables from Precinct 1 and Precinct 4 recovered 42 kilograms of methamphetamine at a traffic stop Saturday.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Montgomery County constables recovered $500,000 worth of methamphetamine at a recent traffic stop.
During a traffic stop at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies from the constable’s offices of Precinct 4 and Precinct 1 found 42 kilograms of meth, worth approximately half a million dollars, according to a Precinct 4 Constable’s Office news release.
Authorities said they also found a loaded handgun in the vehicle. Jesus Acevedo-Vital, 32, of San Antonio was the only person in the car and was arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful carrying of a weapon. Both charges are felony offenses.

Acevedo-Vital is being held in Montgomery County Jail on $300,000 bond, according to jail records.
