OAK RIDGE, TX — A traffic stop by Oak Ridge Police led to the arrest of a burglary suspect on Monday. An Oak Ridge police officer was on patrol when he saw a man commit a traffic violation, and stopped the car.

During the investigation, the officer learned that a burglary had been committed in the 4100 block of Steven Falls Court a few minutes earlier.

The caller provided police with a description of the suspect and his car as he fled the scene, which was shared with other agencies by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation, police recovered several rifles and other weapons that where reportedly stolen from the home.

Police said they determined that three other weapons that were taken in the burglary were not in the car when Ryan was arrested.

Police later found two of the stolen guns, and are working to find the third weapon, officials said.

Ryan was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and was charged with burglary of a habitation.
