Chick-fil-A To Be Closed Nationwide On Christmas Day

CONROE-MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — In a rarity, all Chick-fil-A locations nationwide, including in Montgomery County, will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 25 and 26 this year.

Chick-fil-A is always closed on Sundays, but this year they will close Saturday, Dec. 25 as well, as it is Christmas Day. The founder of Chick-fil-A, Truett Cathy, who is now deceased, was a devout Baptist.

The restaurant chain is known for being closed on Sundays so employees can rest and attend church.

"Chick-fil-A restaurants will be closed on Christmas Day so our restaurant teams can spend time with family and friends. We will also be closed on [Dec. 26] — as we are every Sunday — but look forward to serving you when we reopen on [Dec. 27]," announced the popular restaurant chain.

There are 452 Chick-fil-A locations in Texas, including 16 in Montgomery County.
