Conroe Charity Raises $450,000
Children's Safe Harbor announced that the charity had raised almost half-a-million dollars in May.
Conroe, TX -- Children's Safe Harbor announced that the charity raised $450,000 at its 10th annual Betting on Courage dinner and casino night. The fundraiser was held May 6 and had more than 500 people in attendance.
Children's Safe Harbor is a nonprofit organization serves Montgomery, San Jacinto and Walker counties focused on helping children, ages 2-years-old through 17-years-old, heal the trauma of sexual or physical abuse and seek justice.
Children's Safe Harbor is a recognized Children's Advocacy Center and works hand-in-hand with law enforcement and the courts to investigate allegations of abuse.
