Conroe ISD Coach Charged With Solicitation Of Minor: Constable

Caney Creek baseball coach Joseph Johnson was arrested Wednesday after a months-long investigation by Harris County Precinct 1 Constable.

CONROE, TX — A Conroe ISD baseball coach has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor, according to the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office.

Caney Creek High School baseball coach Joseph Johnson was arrested in the parking lot of the high school shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday. Johnson, who was hired in 2020 and previously coached at Aldine Davis from 2012-'20, had his bond set for $250,000 in Montgomery County and could face further charges in Harris County, according to authorities.

Undercover officers communicated with Johnson through social media and text messages while posing as 14- and 16-year-old girls in September and October 2021. Johnson discussed engaging in sexual activity with the apparent minors, sending photos and video of his genitals to the person he believed to be 16, police said.
