Conroe Woman Caught With Jars Of Marijuana And Mushrooms: Police

Lauren Arielle Hudson, 20, is charged with two counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

CONROE, TX — A 20-year-old Conroe woman is wishing she hadn't been speeding when she was pulled over on New Year's Eve. Now, she's behind bars and facing some serious felony narcotics charges.

Lauren Arielle Hudson is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on two felony counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

According to police, a deputy constable was on a routine patrol on I-45 and Shepherd Hill in Willis at about 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, when he stopped Hudson for speeding. Police said Hudson also did not have a drivers license.

During the investigation, the deputy discovered drug paraphernalia in her car, as well as two full pint-sized Mason jars containing hydroponic marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and tetrahydrocannabinol oil, according to a press release.

Hudson was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail, with her bail amount sety at $20,000.
