Tiffany Doyle is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and forgery of government documents

MAGNOLIA, TX — Deputy constables in Montgomery County busted up a major fraud ring after a Houston woman was caught stealing mail in a Magnolia neighborhood.
A Montgomery County Pct. 5 deputy constable who was patrolling in the 16500 block of Butera Road noticed a suspicious truck without license plates pull up to the mail boxes at a nearby RV park.
The deputy spoke with the driver, identified as 35-year-old Tiffany Doyle, and learned that the vehicle was actually a U-Haul truck.

All the U-Haul identifying information had been removed from the vehicle, officials said. The deputy detained Doyle and called U-Haul, and learned the truck was in the process of being reported stolen.
Deputies searched the truck and found mail from 3 separate addresses in Magnolia that did not belong to Doyle, officials said.

Doyle admitted to deputies that she’d stolen the mail from mailboxes. Deputies also found several counterfeit receipts, printers, gift cards, and counterfeit money inside the truck.
Doyle allegedly confessed to printing the counterfeit money and also using the receipts to steal from stores.
She was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and forgery of government documents. Doyle was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where she is being held without bond. Two others were arrested at a hotel in Harris County, officials said.
