Good Samaritans Find Puppy With Broken Jaw
A chance encounter with a Good Samaritan family means this mixed-breed puppy will be healthy and ready for a good home soon

CONROE, TX — A 4-month old puppy is recovering from surgery after he wandered to a family's home suffering from a broken jaw. The mixed-breed puppy was brought to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter when the family who found him noticed he was injured.
Veterinarians at the to Montgomery County Animal Shelter confirmed that the puppy had a broken jaw and he was referred to the Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists by the shelter and Operation Pets Alive for a consultation and surgery.
Technicians who examined the puppy the named Pedro, believe someone may have kicked the dog in the face, and broke his jaw when he was very small, but they may never know.

Meanwhile, Pedro's surgery was successful and he will be ready for adoption soon.
Despite his injury, Pedro is an incredibly happy puppy, and his doctors think he has the most soulful brown eyes and a cute, wrinkly forehead.
