Conroe-Montgomery County is a place like no other. And whether you grew up here, recently moved to the area or you’re just an occasional visitor, you know that Conroe-Montgomery County has its own special traditions and history that make it so unique.
A few things to know:
- Conroe-Montgomery County is home to the Lone Star Monument and Historical Flag Park, which honors the heroes of the Texas Revolution. The park features life-sized bronze statues of Sam Houston and other prominent figures, as well as replicas of historic flags flown in Texas.

- The Lone Star Convention & Expo Center is a state-of-the-art facility that hosts a variety of events, from trade shows and conferences to concerts and rodeos. The center boasts over 70,000 square feet of event space and can accommodate groups of up to 5,000 people.
