Houston Man Who Fled Police Runs Out Of Gas During Pursuit

Isaias Castro of Houston came up empty when he decided to run from police and ran out of gas.

CONROE, TX — A Houston man who ran from police until he ran out of gas is in the Montgomery County Jail. Isaias Castro, 20, was arrested early Monday and is charged with evading arrest.

According to a report from the Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office, a deputy who was patrolling east Montgomery County in the area of Interstate 69, saw the driver of a motorcycle traveling southbound in excess of 100 miles per hour.

The deputy said he tried to pull over the motorcycle, and that the driver looked over his shoulder at the deputy and tried to speed away.

Patrol units staged along the Interstate clocked the motorcycle traveling at over 150 miles per hour. The driver was seen exiting the interstate and turning on to Fostoria Road where he pulled into a gas station.

Police immediately arrested Castro and took him to the Montgomery County Jail. His bond is set at $4,500.
