Houston Restaurant Weeks: Your Guide For Montgomery County
Here are the HRW menus for the 17 participating restaurants in Conroe, Shenandoah, The Woodlands and Spring. The event lasts until Sept. 6.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Foodies in Montgomery County are in for a real treat in August, when Houston Restaurant Weeks are in full swing.
The event begins Sunday and runs through Labor Day, which is Sept. 6 this year.
Of the more than 200 restaurants across Greater Houston participating in the event, 17 are in Montgomery County. Steakhouses are well-represented among local HRW restaurants, but there are plenty of options ranging from Tex-Mex to seafood, Thai, Latin and Italian cuisine.

As part of Houston Restaurant Weeks, eateries offer prix fixe menus for different meals. Lunch and brunch will cost $20 per person, while dinner will cost either $35 or $49, depending on the restaurant's offerings. Many restaurants also are offering takeout with some offering specific menus for to-go orders. Be sure to call the restaurant and ask beforehand if ordering to-go.
Houston Restaurant Weeks goes toward a good cause as well since the restaurants donate money to Houston Food Bank and its partner distribution organizations, which includes Montgomery County Food Bank, for each HRW meal sold.

"Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest annual fundraiser for America's largest food bank, the Houston Food Bank," Montgomery County Food Bank spokesperson Tyler Odom said. "As one of the Houston Food Bank's partner distribution organizations, Montgomery County Food Bank benefits from the fundraiser through food and fund donations from the Houston Food Bank and receives the proceeds from participating restaurants located in Montgomery County."
