K9 Cop Sniffs Out More Than $63K In Meth During Traffic Stop
Four men who were caught transporting 5.0 kilograms of methamphetamine with a street value of $63K, are in the Montgomery County Jail.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Four men who were caught transporting more than $60,000 in narcotics are all being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
Ronnie Uslandy Morales Lopez, 23, of Houston; Isidoro Gallegos-Aguirre, 47 of Mexico; Juan Felipe Aguirre, 26 of Crosby; and Jose Hernandez-Cruz, 44, of Sacramento, California have been charged with manufacturing and delivery of controlled substance greater than 400 grams.
Deputies who were conducting narcotics intervention along U.S. 59 as part of a joint multi-jurisdictional narcotics operation with Conroe Police and Houston Police, stopped the car in the 23700 block of U.S. 59 in Montgomery County on Jan. 26.

When deputies identified the men asked for permission to search the car, the men refused. Montgomery County Deputy Constable Amstutz with his K9 partner Dino conducted a free air sniff around the car, and the K9 detected narcotics, police said.
Based on information police obtained during the traffic stop, the car was searched. Police seized more than 5.0 kilograms of methamphetamine with a street value of $63,000.

All four were booked into the Montgomery County Jail and are being held with bail set at $1 million each.
