MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — The National Weather Service in Houston this morning issued a Flash Flood Watch for Montgomery County until Thursday.

The forecast calls for thunderstorms the rest of the week, with anywhere from 4 to 8 inches of rain expected over the next two days throughout Montgomery County.

County Judge Mark Keough warned residents in a Facebook post Tuesday to be cautious during the heavy rainfall.

"Remember to never drive in water covering roadways," Keough said in the post. "Turn around don’t drown."
