CONROE, TX — A 57-year-old Spring man who was reported missing on June 6 after he failed to show up for work was found dead in a wooded area along Interstate 45 on Tuesday. Greg Broussard was last seen on Thursday at about 7 a.m. when he left for his job at Buckalew Chevrolet, where he’d worked for many years.

Police and Texas EquuSearch began searching the wooded area of I-45 and League Line Road after investigators pinged his cell phone to that location. Texas EquuSearch volunteers searched the area and discovered a body that matches Broussard’s description.

Police said it appears the victim died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and that an autopsy has been ordered to establish the victim’s identity and the cause of death.
