To make the series a lot more believable, real-life local businesses such as God’s Garage, Spirit of Texas Bank, the Hodge Podge Lodge, and many others will appear in the series. Even a few local figures, such as Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack, will make an appearance, Community Impact reported.

"We’ve got to raise awareness—behavioral health and suicide in our communities is a silent epidemic… We need to break that stronghold; we need to break that silence," Mack said.
