Movie Concerts, Brad Paisley: This Weekend In MoCo

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — There’s a lot going on at Glade Cultural Center this weekend.

Long-running exhibits from Daniel Elliott and Veronica Dyer will be on display Friday and Saturday, and a newly opened exhibit called “The Glade Collection” will be shown all weekend. Two Artists, Two Solo Exhibitions is another gallery featuring the works of Olga Porter and Jeanne Jones along with live music from Brazilian vocalist Gisele Duque.

The piéce de résistance might be Candlelight: Songs From Magical Movie Soundtrack, a concert by Listeso String Quartet featuring some of the most iconic songs from movies and television shows. Some of the songs featured will be “Let It Go”, “Under The Sea” and “The Bear Necessities” along with many others. There is a performance on both Friday and Saturday.

Music dominates other happenings in Montgomery County this weekend, led by performances at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. KEM kicks it off with a Friday performance, and The Black Crowes and Brad Paisley end the star-studded weekend on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
