Police ID Dead Body Found In Willis

Willis, TX -- Police have identified the body of Amanda Michelle Martinez, 27. Martinez was murdered and her body dumped in the Sam Houston National Forest near the 15100 block of Calvary Road, a dirt road.

Her body was found around 1:50 p.m. by two people passing-by. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to contact MCSO’s Major Crimes Unit at 936-760-5876 or Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at 800-392-7867, or 1-800-392-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay a up to $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime.
