Prepare For Scorching Weekend In Montgomery County: NWS
Rain has kept summer temperatures down in Montgomery County over the past month, but that's predicted to change this weekend.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — All the rain over the last month has kept summer temperatures in check recently in Montgomery County.
That’s likely to change this weekend, and the National Weather Service in Houston is cautioning people to prepare for high temperatures this weekend after so long without them.
The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures between 95 and 98 degrees with heat indices reaching near 105 degrees over the weekend. Dark Sky agrees, forecasting highs of 95, 95 and 96 degrees this weekend.

NWS Houston tweeted several tips for staying cool this weekend, beginning with drinking plenty of water. The weather service also suggests doing outdoor work either early or late in the day, wearing light clothing and ensuring kids and pets aren’t left unattended in cars.
