Registered Sex Offender Again Accused Of Sexual Assault Of Minor
A Porter man was been charged with aggravated assault of a minor on June 9.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — A registered sex offender from Porter was charged with aggravated assault of a child, a first-degree felony, on June 9, Montgomery County court documents show.
Steven Anthony Wilson, 31, is accused of assaulting a minor on Aug. 27, 2020, according to court documents. He was not in the Montgomery County jail roster as of Tuesday afternoon, and according to the Conroe Courier, he was taken into custody on Monday and is out on $100,000 bond.
Wilson has an information hearing in the 435th Judicial District Court in Conroe on Aug. 9, court documents show. Court records do not show a defense attorney for Wilson.

Wilson is a registered sex offender on the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, which is maintained by the Texas Department of Public Safety. He was convicted on two counts of aggravated assault of a child in 2009, stemming from incidents in 2006 and 2007, when he was 17. Wilson received deferred adjudication for both, Montgomery County court documents show.
Wilson was accused of inappropriate touching of two minors, according to the Conroe Courier, citing a probable cause affidavit, though there is only one charge against him.
