Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Willis: NWS
The warning lasts until 5:45 p.m. Residents should prepare for winds up to 60 mph and the possibility of up to quarter-sized hail.
WILLIS, TX — The National Weather Service Houston issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Willis, Panorama Village and New Waverly lasting until 5:45 p.m. Friday.
The alert states the possibility of winds up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail in the storm. A tornado also is possible.
The NWS also issued a Tornado Watch for Montgomery County until 9 p.m.
