Touch-A-Truck, Summer Moon Grand Opening: This Weekend In MoCo

There are tons of family-friendly activities and events to participate in this weekend in Montgomery County.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Have a child that’s into cars and trucks?

The City of Conroe Parks & Recreation Department has the event for you this weekend.

Conroe Parks & Rec and MJR Services, Inc. will be hosting Touch-A-Truck at Founders Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, right next to the weekly Main Street Market in Conroe.

Admission is free and participants will get to touch, climb and take pictures with trucks, heavy equipment and police and fire vehicles. There will be face painting, bounce houses, live music and an event called paint-a-car.

It’s one of many family friendly events this weekend in Montgomery County, along with Stronger To Serve’s Family Field Day at Burroughs Park and a pair of back-to-school bashes hosted by Majestic Youth Sports Center in Willis and Main Event in Shenandoah.

Summer Moon Coffee also has its grand opening at 7 a.m. Saturday. Be sure to stop by for flavorful, oak-roasted coffee and get a chance to win a year supply of Summer Moon coffee.
