• Conroe's Star Cinema Grill movie theater closes after 17 years (houstonchronicle.com) — Conroe’s Star Cinema Grill at Pine Hollow Shopping Center has closed, with Thursday marked as its final day after more than 15 years in operation. The dine-in theater, which opened in 2009 and replaced Pine Hollow 6, leaves a vacant space while sister locations in Spring and The Woodlands remain open.
   

• WANTED: DPS, Montgomery Co. Auto Theft Task Force seeking man involved in vehicle theft investigation, 10 vehicels recovered (mytexasdaily.com) — Law enforcement based in Conroe has recovered ten stolen vehicles and is now asking residents for help locating 34-year-old Justin Blake Bowman, who fled during a recent pursuit. Authorities have released multiple phone numbers for tips and note that Crime Stoppers may offer a cash reward for information leading to an arrest or more recovered property.
