Dallas Man Sees Multi-Car Pileup Involving Police and a G-Wagon. It’s The Second One in 2 days
'Dallas drivers have to be some of the worst.'
A Dallas man narrates a multi-car pileup involving police, an influencer’s Mercedes G Wagon, multiple Birkin bags, and a puppy. Here’s why he says Dallas drivers are among the worst in the state.
TikTok creator Chris Cavanaugh (@thedevontee) posted the clip two days ago from downtown Dallas. The on-screen text explains, “Car accident. $100,000 vehicle totaled by Dallas police.”
According to Cavanaugh, “Lord have mercy. The Addison police car ran head-on into the G Wagon. Hit multiple cars. She just looks disgruntled. This is a Highland Park white woman. Call the cops. A Highland Park white woman with a 25-cm Hermes Birkin and a puppy dog just got into a wreck. It’s enough.”

The multi-car pileup also involved several other vehicles, tow trucks, fire rigs, and even spectators taking selfies. He also narrates a scene in which a couple seemingly associated with the G Wagon crash talks to authorities.
Toward the end of the video, he notes, “Dallas drivers have to be some of the worst drivers. It’s a mess.”

Viewers Identify Owner of the Totaled G Wagon
In the comments section, several viewers identified the woman in the video as the mother of Dallas-area influencer Kait Davis, who is married to professional bull rider Cooper Davis. An April TikTok video shows Davis receiving the G Wagon as a gift.
The caption reads, “I had no idea. I told him I loved this car a couple months ago. We landed at the airport and my mom brought it to pick us up.”
According to a conversation in the comments section of that video, the gift apparently sparked several days of death threats.
Davis hasn’t posted to TikTok since December, but her followers are commenting on those videos and asking for an update and to know whether she, her mother, and Davis are all OK.
“Darling, please give us an update,” wrote one viewer on a post from Dec. 30. “Are mom and the puppy OK?”
This event comes just days after a New Year’s Day crash that involved several vehicles and left two teens in critical condition.
Are Dallas Drivers Really Among the Worst in the State of Texas?
According to Allstate, the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area is, in fact, filled with some of the worst drivers in the entire state of Texas. The survey used crash frequency compared to the national average to reach this conclusion. A year earlier, Dallas ranked sixth on a Forbes list of worst driving cities in the U.S.
Commenters debated the merits of this label in a Reddit thread posted to r/driving earlier this year.
One trucker wrote, “Dallas was the one place I truly feared out of all the places I’ve been. The construction is what sends it over the top to me, alongside the drivers who think 80 miles per hour is the bare minimum. They never slow down for adverse weather, fog, or rain with low visibility.”
However, others said Dallas is no different than any other place in Texas. “Drivers suck everywhere. No place is special,” argued one commenter.
Patch Texas contacted Davis and the Addison Police Department via email for comment.
