Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. An aircraft made an emergency landing on Keist Boulevard. The aircraft was heading to Dallas Executive Airport. The pilot struck some utility lines and a road sign during the emergency landing. The aircraft was occupied by a husband and wife. The two were uninjured. (NBC DFW)
  2. The Dallas Police Department is investigating a fatal drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the 4800 block of S. Buckner Boulevard on Sunday morning just before 4:30 a.m. The victim was reportedly shot by a suspect in a dark-colored four-door sedan. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the department. (The Dallas Morning News)
  3. The Dallas area will be encountering dramatic changes in the weather this week. The area's record dry spell ended Sunday morning when measurable rain fell.
