The countdown to the much-anticipated NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball First and Second Rounds at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth has begun. The event will be broadcast live nationally on CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV.

“It was in 2017 when Dickies Arena was named the host for the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball First and Second Rounds, and it’s amazing the tournament is now happening this week,” said Matt Homan, president and general manager of Dickies Arena. “The entire Dickies Arena team is excited to host Rounds 1 and 2, and we welcome the teams and fans to Fort Worth and the Arena for one of the most exciting basketball tournaments in the sport. We are ready to let the Madness begin.”
“Hosting the NCAA Men’s Basketball First and Second Rounds is a tremendous win for Fort Worth and an incredible opportunity for our community to shine on one of the biggest sports stages in the nation,” said Jason Sands, executive director of the Fort Worth Sports Commission. “This prestigious event will bring domestic and international television exposure and provide a local economic impact of more than $6 million to Fort Worth. Our city and hospitality community stand ready to roll out the welcome wagon for the student-athletes, coaches and thousands of passionate fans that have stamped their ticket to Fort Worth.”

The Dickies Arena Fan Fest will be located on the east side of Dickies Arena at the Simmons Bank Plaza. Fans can enjoy music, games, food, spirits and photo opportunities.
