Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:
- Several Dallas area organizations have partnered to offer counseling services to individuals affected by the Wings Over Dallas air show crash. The services will be made available to air show attendees, first responders, and schools. To receive assistance, dial 469-342-1502, the Disaster Behavioral Health Hotline. The line will operate until further notice. (Subscription: The Dallas Morning News)
- Christmas at the Anatole will be returning to Dallas this year. The holiday event will be running through Saturday, Dec. 24. Christmas at the Anatole will feature the North Texas Pole and Breakfast with Santa. There will be holiday train rides, a talking tree, face painting, a Snowman Bounce Castle, and cookie decorating. - The Dallas Police Department has disposed of pyrotechnics that were originally meant for the Wings Over Dallas Air Show. Residents may have heard the disposal on Thursday as a series of explosions were set off. The Police Explosive Ordinance Squad disposed of the pyrotechnics in a controlled setting.
