- The Dallas Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in locating Leonard Ray Rhodes, 72 years old. He went missing on Wednesday morning from the 4500 block of S. Lancaster Road. He may be confused and in need of assistance. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- The Dallas Police Department has arrested the individual accused of killing his friend after a basketball game. Cameron Hogg, 31 years old, allegedly shot and killed Asia Womack, 21 years old, after she beat him at basketball. The incident occurred on Oct. 3 at Terry Park. (CBS Dallas)
- Dallas Soul Food Festival is this weekend. On Sunday, Oct. 23 from noon to 7:00 p.m., over 30 different vendors will be serving delicious Soul food. There will be candied yams, greens, fried chicken, fish, barbecue, tacos, pork chops, and more. The festival will be at Lofty Spaces on Montgomery Street. (CW33 Dallas)
