Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

1. Home sales in Dallas have decreased by about 21 percent compared to the same time last year. Despite the drop in home sales, the median price of a home sale in Dallas is still 14 percent higher compared to the previous year. Rising mortgage rates and a cooling economic market are the two main factors for the recent trend. (Subscription: The Business Journals)
2. The wrong-way-driver suspected of killing Dallas Police Department officer Jacob Arellano has been arrested. Mayra Rebollar, 31, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter. Her blood alcohol level was between 0.20 and 0.22, according to a toxicology report. The level is more than double the legal limit. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
3. Dallas fire crews responded to a large blaze off Sylvan Avenue on Tuesday morning. The fire occurred in a vacant building near Singleton Boulevard in West Dallas. No one was injured during the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
