Dallas, Texas - The rising popularity of pickleball is evident as both Pickle and Social and The Picklr unveil plans to expand into the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Pickle and Social is slated for establishment in Frisco Station, a substantial 242-acre mixed-use development located to Dallas' north. Beyond just indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, this establishment will offer an array of recreational amenities, including a putting green, beach volleyball courts, yard games, and ping-pong tables. The construction phase is set to start in spring 2023, with an anticipated opening in spring 2025.

Adjacent to this venture, Fairway Social, focusing on golf and various sports, will also commence its operations. The synergy of these two recreational centers is expected to enhance the entertainment options in a region already rich in such offerings.

"As one of the fastest growing cities in America, it’s fitting for Frisco to become a destination for pickleball," stated Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney.

"Our residents have been asking for more pickleball courts for quite some time, so I’m confident this concept will be popular with locals and visitors alike. We’re a community with an active lifestyle and look forward to this concept complimenting Frisco Station’s development."

Simultaneously, Utah's The Picklr shared its expansive national launch plan. The indoor pickleball venue has earmarked six new sites across Austin and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. However, the firm has chosen not to disclose specific opening dates for its Dallas-Fort Worth locations at this juncture.

Jorge Baargan, The Picklr's founder and CEO, mentioned, "In coming on board to expand The Picklr, our new partners see the value of making this sport accessible and enjoyable to people across the country."

"The Picklr stands out among our competition through high-end facilities and our unique sense of community that is evident to anyone lucky enough to be a part of The Picklr, whether as a member, competitor or now our new franchisees."
