Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:
- Two historic military planes collided in midair at a Dallas air show on Saturday. Six people died as a result of the collision, according to the Dallas County medical examiner. The incident occurred about ten miles from downtown Dallas. Thankfully, no one on the ground suffered injuries. (Associated Press)
- The Dallas Park and Recreation Department is currently searching for vendors for Holiday at the Farm. The event will be held at Samuell Farm on Dec. 10 from noon to 6:00 p.m. There will be photo opportunities with Santa, holiday hayrides, and seasonal crafts. Click for vendor application details. - The Dallas County District Attorney has been elected to four more years. District Attorney John Creuzot defeated Faith Johnson in the midterm election. Before the election, Creuzot said he would re-evaluate his office's controversial theft policy regarding food, diapers, and formula. According to Creuzot, his office will be prioritizing violent crime and case efficiency. (WFAA.com)
