Local Rifle, Handgun Retailer Says He Supports Expanded Background Checks

Thursday night, the Senate did something many of us thought we would not be seeing in this day and age - passing legislation that would at least include some stricter oversight and regulations on the purchase of firearms.

The Senate passed the legislation 65 to 33.

The operators of Targetmaster in Garland say their customers who come here to buy rifles and handguns probably won't notice that much of a difference after the legislation takes effect.
