  1. CBS Dallas reports a Dallas police officer was placed on leave after shooting at an unarmed man. Police Chief Eddie Garcia released body camera footage Wednesday and called it concerning. (CBS Dallas via Patch)
  2. Alex Bentley of Culture Map Dallas reports a nearly 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel boasts stunning views near Frisco. The wheel, which opens Saturday, contains over 40 gondolas, each which can hold up to eight people. (Culture Map Dallas)
  3. Fox4 reports the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is predicted 4.3 percent growth in Texas in 2021, and that all of the jobs lost during the coronavirus pandemic will return by next spring. (Fox4)
