Partnering with For the City Comedy, the series has already brought in thousands and aims for $10,000 to help local and international students stay enrolled.

Dating app meetup turns fatal after 26-year-old shoots, kills transgender woman (dallasnews.com) — A deadly shooting inside a northwest Dallas home left a 57-year-old woman dead and her husband wounded after a meetup arranged through a dating app. Police say 26-year-old Noah Trueba was arrested nearby and now faces a murder charge, with conflicting accounts from him and the surviving victim about what led to the gunfire. The case remains under investigation by Dallas authorities.

Texas ICE official on tension and turmoil in cities across U.S. (cbsnews.com) — An ICE field office leader based in Dallas explains how agents are handling growing tension and safety concerns around immigration enforcement nationwide, following a fatal shooting by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. He defends officers’ tactics, emphasizes their public safety mission, and urges the public to consider context behind viral videos of confrontations.
