Bonton Farms no longer taking dry Christmas tree donations for goats (nbcdfw.com) — Bonton Farms in South Dallas has stopped accepting dried-out Christmas trees for its goats, citing concerns about chemicals and other potential health risks. Instead, the nonprofit urban farm is feeding goats and other animals with produce scraps and donated pumpkins, which also helps lower feed costs for the operation.
